Save the Bats! Love Your Bat month begins!
First off, let me say I’m sorry I haven’t posted anything in so long. I started a paying gig Out There In The Real World, and it’s taken a lot of the time I formerly spent on such important things as this blog. Alas!
But more importantly, Particles of Stone is happy to announce Love Your Bat month at the Etsy shop!
For the month of October, 10% of all sales proceeds will be donated to the Organization for Bat Conservation (OBC). This organization, based in Michigan, is committed to educating the public about bats and to aid in their preservation as a species that fills a unique and necessary niche in the ecosystem. Love bats? Buy a bathouse from OBC!

Hey Andi! Thanks for visiting my blog . .. . and for your encouraging comment. I’m with you all the way on this movement – I’m trying my best to get the word out, but it seems that folks are a bit shy about admitting that they buy from their local thrift store. Any ideas?
