In February of 2009, I undertook a new challenge:  Learning how to design and make jewelry and start a business selling said jewelry.  Here is  my story as I journey along that learning curve, from beginning jewelry-making entrepreneurship to…wherever my path leads.

    Fun to find your blog! I started crafting jewelry from recycled jewelry last year, but as a full time musician and private voice teacher, one piece of adice is, always, always leave creative time. Once you turn your craft into a business, your time is eaten up more and more with business and less and less with the reasons you went into it in the first place. If I had to start my music career again, I would have built in at least one hour a day to just make music without wondering how I would use it to make a living…
